It has come to our attention that certain individuals have been using Prime Asia Asset Management Pte Ltd (“PAAM”)’s name, logo and company images in messages / channels on Telegram and/or WhatsApp without authorisation. These individuals have also used the names and photographs of PAAM’s employees and representatives without authorisation. The actions of these individuals lead us to believe that their intention is to scam members of the public by impersonating PAAM and its employees.

These individuals appear to be presently using phone numbers registered in Malaysia, and they attempt to deceive members of the public into divulging their personal information and/or monies on Telegram and/or WhatsApp in exchange for certain products relating to Chinese New Year.

Should you receive any unsolicited calls or messages from individuals impersonating us, please do not engage or disclose any information to them.

We would like to emphasise that PAAM does not market any products outside Singapore and operates mainly within Singapore. PAAM also does not communicate or transact with our clients (including with respect to investment advisory or product distribution) through telecommunication or social media channels such as Telegram and/or WhatsApp, and we will never request our clients to divulge their personal or banking information on such channels.

PAAM takes a serious view of this matter, and we are presently taking steps to report the matter to the relevant authorities.
